About installation Raspberry OS is here Buster 64-bit. I have installed and running, I need so far:
- Apache web server
- node/npm/docker/composer
- PHP, Python, Go (for collection)
- MySQL and 64-bit MongoDB
- office/image
- Visual Studio Code, Arduino IDE
- some issue with ATTiny 85, and ESP32, but ESP8266 works great
Not tested: i2c node.js modules
Interesting post. Linked to this from the visual studio 64 code on github. I just bought 240GB sandisk ssd and loaded it with raspberry pi os 64 bit on my pi 4b 8GB. I really don’t want to load visual studio, for no other reason than, well as a lifelong IT guy, I’ve dealt with em a zillion times and supported the OS in both client, server, etc… but, i’m doing the full open source / linux dive and I can’t shake the “ms don’t belong here” feeling. Additionally as you said above, I’d like my core dev env to be LAMP, 64 bit if possible. I’ve not found another 64bit ide, but I’m looking. Have you had any luck in finding 64bit apps on your list?
