Using RDP Client With Linux Mint

sudo apt install xrdp

It was enough with Raspbery Pi (up to Debian Buster), but not for Linux Mint. The only solution has helped me is:

echo env -u SESSION_MANAGER -u DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS cinnamon-session>~/.xsession

Check the Firewall status…

sudo ufw status
Status: inactive

If it’s INACTIVE, skip the next step…

sudo ufw allow 3389/tcp

The issue is: there is no way to remove any System (System, Recovery, EFI) partitions using Disk Manger
No third-party tools installed

To get the story about EFI partition, follow the link at the end of the post, I have just needed to clean the disk using built-in Windows Tools…

Stop being prompted to upgrade Thunderbird

I’d been happy and still, using Thunderbird 60.*. It’s a great desktop application, nothing MOBILE FIRST, to make easier to handle multiple accounts. F-Google’s stop working, saying about protecting my personal information from using the old applications. It’s BS. OK, I had two options

Read CHM files from network storage on Windows

I still like PHP documentation in .chm format, and, yes, I have some collectable items in the same format. So, to keep all of them in one place and have access from other computers under Windows 7/8.1: check Intranet settings and update Registry:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions]
"MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001
